Begin Quilting Class
The Begin Quilting class will guide you step by step on how to create a simple quilt from sewing up your patchwork to sandwiching your quilt, and finally to binding it. Designed to help the beginning quilter gain confidence with piecing skills, this class runs for six sessions.
Students will develop basic skills/training as follows:
Build confidence with color choices when choosing fabrics
Measure using ruler and grid lines on cutting mat
Cut using a rotary cutter
Read and translate patterns
Practice straight stitching
Learn the concept of quilting using a regular sewing machine
Cancellation Policy
Thank you for registering for our class. The following cancellation policy will be strictly enforced:
- In the event that you are unable to attend the class and it is more than 3 days before the class, you can receive a full refund of the class cost.
- If you must cancel between 2 and 3 days prior to class date you will receive a Full Credit towards another class.
- If you cancel less than 2 days prior to class, your class fee is 100% forfeited. Transfer to another class is not available with less than a 2-day cancellation.
